VODAFONE are selling Rs 50 schemes to innocent subscriber&'s form 500 mb downloads of internet and raising bills of Rs 7000 plus without any intimation or warning to customers. We have received complaint. The limit was arbitrarily raised to Rs 5000 without permission of the customer and raised bills of Rs 7000 and disconnected the services. A Citi Bank branch manager here has been ordered by the Delhi State Consumer Commission to pay Rs 15 lakh as compensation to a credit card holder for leaking his account details to a third party. The students are tempted to subscribe to the schemes as the cost involved is just Rs 50 per month.
